If only replacing characters and their language in a Hollywood story-line with desi context can make for an eligibility to be film-makers, then i’m afraid every Ta Ra Ma and Pa of our country will make a better film than the dudes who made Tara Rum Pum. An equally vitriolic note to the writer, who probably thought that not many desi junta have had access to the foreign films than him, or to be more precise, a movie called Cinderella Man.
It’s a real pain in the ass sitting through the long three hours, watching a few horrendous events unfolding. everything about this film is bad; so bad that it almost tempts you to curse the makers and sellers of this movie to rot in the rut, and demanding them be banned from the industry for a while, thus ensuring safety for thousands of movie-buffs.
So, let me settle my sore bum before i can make it ready to hold me up-right for the next venture; next movie i mean! 🙂

why you calling the film bad. It is the best film i have seen so far! And if you realy dont like it then why dont you watch other films instead of writing this mean less stuff

how can u even compare cindrella man n tara rum pum ..
it was more on the fun part … hasta khelta parivaar types ..
no doubts Cindrella man was class apart ..
but this movie isnt that bad as u said ..
may b u spend a little too much too watch it .. or you founf yourself in saif or one of the characters .. or you gf left u after the movie ..bcos d isnt that bad ..

yeh the movie wasnt too bad. i think u were a little too harsh in judging it. usually i take ur reviews pretty seriously..im happy i decided to differ.

@NK: i can see that in other comments too 🙂 i still stand by my view, that is, if i’m to watch the movie again. but i must agree, the movie has been accepted by the crowd, proving me wrong. if BO is what it matters the most, i admit being wrong-footed…:)

that was one shitty movie! i’d sit through torture porn movies instead of this. that’s how bad it was. the filmmaker should be castrated for maiking this most effective piece of mass torture since the holocaust!

i find it so entertaining, i love the story since it is a wholesome movie. I like the acting of the lead actors as well as the kids. Its so fascinating. I like as well the music.Its kinda a musical movie, with a good voices of the lead actors. More power to the Indian movies, im from Philippines.
