If you’re an avid music lover but tired of buying those ‘best of the best’ type compilations that put up most craps except a couple of good numbers, you just might have found a solution. Google labs has released their Google Music trends that will help surfers find out the latest music trends. It is basically based on Google trends for music, though based on activities by google talkers rather than the google searchers. You have also an option to further filter the trends countrywise; however, currently there is only ‘United States’ option that you can choose. Interestingly, Hindi is listed as a category along with rock, pop, hip-hop, jazz, blues etc. Note: Google-talk has just been updated its features by adding File/folder-sharing, drag-n-drop files, and music status. They plan to roll out these features to every existing G-talk users soon. However, if you can’t wait till it happens, then download the new version and start using the new features immediately.
